PRESETS

VERSION 2 (V2)

Captured with the new TONEX V2 Modeler set to “Extended Training” for the highest quality possible. All V2 captures, no matter the manufacturer, are perfectly in phase (polarity) with each other and have the same amount of latency. I also made sure all of my V1 captures are in polarity with the new V2 captures so you can mix and match if you wish. See this video for details.

VERSION 1 (V1)

These presets are designed to be my go-to all around presets for a variety of guitars but sound particularly good with humbuckers. These are my two original captures and, in my opinion, still sound the best!

VERSION 1.5 (V1.5)

Based on popular demand to release a wider range of gain stages, I made another round of captures, attempting to dial in my exact same tonal settings as V1 but with just more range of gain. While there’s certainly more gain, despite my best efforts, there’s also a very very slight tonal difference. V2’s bass response is a tad different. Some may really like it so give it a shot! These are also great for those who prefer to run their input trim much lower. If setting your Input Trim to 0db, start with Gain stage 3 or 4 for a clean or edge of breakup tone.

WARM (WRM)

Made in collaboration with Sam Wittek for his Telecaster equipped with bright Porter Custom single coil pickups. These presets are warmer than V1 and V2 to provide a smoother top end while still retaining clarity in the mix and work especially well with bright pickups.
