COLLABORATION & VISION
This amp is not my own. Even if I wanted to buy one, they’re rare as hens’ teeth and aren’t currently in production. Thankfully, through the wonderful connections made possible by social media, I recently became friends with Isaac Cook, a current Elliott artist. Isaac had been using some of my ToneX captures and enjoyed them enough to graciously loan me his Revenuer for the purpose of capturing. The goal was to create capture sets designed in partnership with Isaac that perfectly compliment his favorite Elliott guitars—the James Duke 357, the Raven, and the Tone Master. After almost a year in the making, Isaac and I are very proud of the captures we’ve created together and are excited to share them with you! But worry not, even if you don’t own an Elliott guitar, we’re sure there’s a capture in here that will fit whatever’s in your arsenal. Read up about each capture below.
CAPTURES
RAVE
These captures are designed around an Elliott Raven traditionally voiced humbuckers. But, as with all these captures, feel free to experiment with different guitars and pickups, you may be surprised at what works for you! These captures were dual miced with a Shure 545D and an R-121 and run through an API Preamp with mild EQ.

These captures are designed around an Elliott 357 James Duke Signature guitar with modified gold foil pickups. I find these captures work great with my Nash T-52 Tele with Lambertones Blondies. These captures were dual miced with a Shure 545D and an R-121 and run through an API Preamp with mild EQ.

These captures are designed around an Elliott Tone Master with P90 pickups. Since P90 pickups sit in between a single coil and a humbucker, you should try this capture with any guitar you have, just to see how it fits. These captures were dual miced with a Shure 545D and an R-121 and run through an API Preamp with mild EQ.

SC
This round of captures wasn’t designed to work with a particular Elliott guitar but rather it was designed to work well generally with all kinds of single coils. Try this with your strat, tele, JM and more! These captures were dual miced with a Shure 545D and a M160 and run through an API Preamp with mild EQ.

HEAD CAPTURES & IRS
These are “no compromise” head captures. All heads were captured with the matching cabs connected at full volume for proper impedance matching for the best tone possible.
Impulse Responses have been included in the download with this file. Each impulse response is a custom blended IR that matches the dual mics, cab, preamp, and EQ that was used for each of the full captures.

PRESET NAMING
GAIN STAGES
The Revenuer has a ton of clean headroom and really doesn’t start breaking up until very late in the volume sweep. You may find you need to reach for a higher gain stage than my usual captures to find a true “edge of breakup” tone.

*Each capture used a unique blend of mic placement and API EQ. There was no “copy and paste” with the mics or settings. Each capture received special care to dial it in specifically for each target guitar (see Vision below).
